ED Physician Coder/Urgent Care Coder
The selected candidate (s) will be responsible for the CPT and ICD-10 coding of physician charts for the Emergency Physician and / or Urgent Care practices. They will be responsible for reading through medical charts and assigning appropriate codes as documented by the provider, and in accordance with payer guidelines. All coding will be done electronically, with the charts viewable on screen, and coding entered into our proprietary program.
ER Physician / Urgent Care coding experience
Must be CPC or CCS-P Certified
Thorough knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding directly from physicians' chart documentation
Strong E/M coding abilities
Remote coder considered only if applicant demonstrates mastery of ER physician coding or Urgent Care coding
Highly efficient (production and accuracy) Coders only
Concurrent coding employment will not be permitted

A/R Specialist
The A/R Specialist is responsible for researching patient accounts and taking appropriate course of action for maximum reimbursement from the payer or responsible party. Additional tasks involve processing correspondence for their assigned client as well as handling incoming phone calls. The selected team member will:
Display a positive attitude, with a focus on professional and courteous treatment of others in the course of their duties.
Possess excellent time management and organization skills.
Have a minimum of three (3) years medical billing experience.
Bilingual candidates are highly valued.
A/R Customer Service
This position involves answering inbound calls from patients, insurance carriers and hospitals, relating to account balances, billing questions, etc. The successful candidate will:
Display a positive attitude, with a focus on professional and courteous treatment of others in the course of their duties.
Possess strong verbal and written skills, with a focus on an ability to listen and respond.
Handle multiple tasks at one time.
Have a minimum of three (3) years medical billing experience.
Bilingual candidates are highly valued.
Payment Processing
The Payment Entry team member will make daily deposits in clients' account and post incoming payments from insurance payers and patients to accounts. The successful candidate will be able to meet routine deadlines and productivity standards, maintain a high level of accuracy, and communicate irregularities to management when necessary. A minimum of 2 years experience is required for this position as is familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOB), 10 key by touch.
